Theater Hall
Salao de Atos, the Theater Hall at UFRGS, has the capacity to support up to 1,309 people, while also providing two spectator boxes that can hold up to 8 people. The shape of the auditorium allows for a variety of performances and activities to take place, including artistic presentations, lectures, seminars, conferences and graduation ceremonies.
The indoor space is air-conditioned, with several emergency exits, fire prevention system, and access ramps. It has a sound booth for simultaneous translation, a multimedia projector and three retractable screens for projections.
In addition to Salao de Atos, there is a smaller auditorium called Room II, which is a space available to support another 266 people. This room is equipped with all the same facilities to host seminars, congresses and conferences.
