Princípios de Fitopatologia (Principles of Plant Pathology):
This course covers the basic aspects of the discipline of Plant Pathology and is offered to students in the fourth semester of the Agronomy major.
Manejo integrado de pragas e doenças de plantas (Integrated pest and disease management): Students are exposed to the fundamentals and principles of IPM in both entomology and plant pathology. Students need to develop IPM projects. It is offered to students in the eigth semester of the Agronomy major
Plant Disease Epidemiology is a 60h course offered one semester each year. It strongly emphasizes the quantitative aspects of the epidemics. At the end of the course, the students will be able to quantify, describe, compare, analyze and predict plant disease epidemics in both time and space making of use of several mathematical and statistical models. It is both theoretical and applied and the students spend several hours dealing with epidemiological data and analysis in over a dozen of computer software.
