Bios Project

With a systematic acquirement of visual information (by photography and video recording), we aim to constitute a collection of analogical and digital photographic images of the genetic banks in conservation areas that are under the responsibility of the Government of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, inserted in the Program Pró-Guaiba. This is the BIOS Project: Images of the Southern Biosphere of Brazil, and its sub-project "The Graphic-Visual Resources from Conservation Units of Rio Grande do Sul"

The production of this collection has the intention of promoting activities of environmental and ecological education for regional, national and international communities besides providing the creation of a bank of images, composed of three interlinked digital stations, endowed with fast access to the visual information, provided with scientific textual data of the environments in this project, as follows:

2 - Zoo of Rio Grande do Sul
3 - State Park of Itapuã
4 - State Park of Jacuí's Delta
