Photographic Extension courses

This programme aims to develop creative projects through extension courses and also to develop the visual perception, using photographs as a support for the ideas and graphic-visual products. These activities are permanently available to academics and to the public. The programmed activities emphasize photo taking and the subsequent processes, in several stages, from the basic level (first notions), to special courses, including “fotoacabamento” techniques, lab uses, digital photography, micro and macro photography, graphic image processes, research and experimental shootings, as well as others. The courses were planned  out in a modular program, so that whoever is interested can take part in one or more modules, serial or alternated, since all the courses are repeated annually. The workshops, which take around 8 hours, aim to improve the technical process of developing and “fotoacabamento” black and white films in atelier/labs, having as its basis the research done by the Photography Center in FABICO-UFRGS.  To enter some  of the workshops and some of the modular courses a portfolio should be presented and the candidates will be interviewed.
