Sustainability and Innovation Research Group
The Sustainability and Innovation Research Group (acronym in Portuguese is GPS) is based at the Management School of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul – Porto Alegre, Brazil. The GPS takes part in a number of research networks and is developing partnerships with several universities around the World.
To further the development of research into sustainability and innovation and disseminating the knowledge obtained in the best scientific journals, while also propagating the concepts and good practices of sustainability and innovation.
Members of GPS
The members of GPS include Professors, PhD, Master and Graduate students of management as well as other academic fields. The Research Group is open to all those interested in the research, practice and in propagation of knowledge about sustainability and innovation.
Research Fields from 2012 to 2020
Sustainable Supply Chain Management – This research line includes projects about Green Supply Chain Management, Social Enterprise, Sustainable Production and Consumption, Clean Development Mechanisms (CDM) and Sustainable Tourism.
Education for Sustainability – This research line includes projects about environmental education, education for consumption, sustainability in the university curricula, methods of teaching sustainability.
