NERINT – STRATEGIC AND INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS CENTER - is dedicated to the analysis of the Strategic and International Relations. Our aim is to understand the context of the Brazilian foreign policy and its associations with contemporary international issues. Our focus lies on the study of international system’s main powers interests and capabilities – United States, European Union, China and Russia – as well as on three regions characterized by the presence of relevant regional powers – South America, Austral Africa and South Asia. Through the production of scientific articles, reports, dossiers, articles, books, lectures, seminaries and courses, NERINT intends to further the discussions on the main aspects of the relations between countries and peoples. Our challenge is to fully understand the diplomatic, economic and security-related aspects that rule every country behavior in the international system, and how do they influence each other through their actions. And, by doing so, to contribute to further develop this academic field in Brazil and also have an impact on the policy process in our country.
