Editorial Policy Committee

Comprise the Scientific Editor, Area Editors, SBI Directory Board, and SBI Deliberation Council and must establish the identity of the Journal, the editorial line, criteria to accept or refuse manuscripts, rules and general arrangement of the Journal (sections, number of Area Editors, etc.).

Editorial Advisory Board

Encompass at least three experienced researchers from different countries and different fields in Ichthyology, responsible for a permanent analysis of the editorial line and quality of the Journal, suggesting improvements.

Editorial Board

Scientific Editor - A researcher, member of the SBI, responsible for the scientific quality and editorial uniformity of the Journal.

Area Editors - Researchers, members of the SBI, experts in their respective areas (Biology, Biochemistry and Physiology, Ecology, Genetics and Molecular Biology, Systematics), responsible for the scientific quality of the Journal and analysis of submitted manuscripts.

Referees - International board of scientists, experts in their respective areas, responsible for the analysis of submitted manuscripts.
