PAPER SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

· Papers submitted and selected by the Scientific Committee will be presented as Posters in the Meeting;
· Thematic workshops will be held to discuss and comment on papers;
· Deadline for poster abstracts is May 15, 2004; no deadline extensions will be granted;
· Corresponding authors will be communicated in writing of the result of the submission process;
· Corresponding authors will be communicated in writing about the time, date, and place of their poster session;
· Poster dimensions should not exceed 90 cm x 120 cm. Posters will be numbered and displayed in place to be determined by the Organizing Committee.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

1. Abstracts must be sent in A4 format, and typed using text editor Microsoft Word for Windows.
2. Author names must be written in full (first name/last name).
3. Abstracts must be typed using Arial 12, and must not exceed A4 format.

4. Abstracts must include:

a) Title
b) Name of Author(s)
c) Mailing address
d) Name of Institution
e) Abstract:
1- Definition of Study Problem
2- Objectives
3- Methodology (if applied)
4- Results (if applied)
5. Author presenting the poster must be registered in the Meeting.
6. Faxed papers will not be accepted.
7. Papers will be considered by the Scientific Committee.
8. Data and abstracts are of the sole responsibility of authors. Abstracts will be published as sent.
9. Abstracts should be emailed to salahum@terra.com.br or mailed to Secretaria Executiva - Caixa Postal 5540 90410-007 - PORTO ALEGRE (RS) - one hard copy and an electronic file on a floppy disk.
