The Seminars

Seminars in Biomedical Sciences, previously named Seminars in Neurosciences, is an anual symposium that aims to create an environment of scientific discussion, gathering Latin American students and leading investigators to discuss current works in biomedical sciences. Speakers of other disciplines, such as immunology, epidemiology, metabolism, and even drama and music, bring different conceptual views to the debate, enriching the scientific discussion.

The interactive format of the Seminars in Biomedical Sciences stimulates students who aim to pursue a career abroad to be in close contact with the speakers. The event will be held at the Nursing School Auditorium of Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), on the 11th and 12th of December 2018.
