The Educational Incentive Program is an initiative that encourages university employees to expand their qualifications through formal education courses. It is operationalized through the granting of educational incentives, made available in public notices, for basic education, undergraduate and graduate courses (strictu sensu). The notices are published every six months, subject to budget availability.
Servers covered in undergraduate and graduate courses make their academic productions available at LUME, UFRGS digital repository. Those awarded stricto sensu courses also present the results of their research at the EDUFRGS Salon, an event that takes place together with the UFRGS Salon.
