Phase III – 2020-in progress

The objective of this project is to produce knowledge about relations between poverty and performance, and to analyze the impact that performances (artistic, cultural, social etc.) have on the lives of people in situations of poverty, to support new policies for fighting poverty. It works with the perspective of Performance Studies, Presence Studies and Ethnoscenology to maintain a network of researchers involving six countries (Angola, Argentina, Brazil, France, Mozambique, and Portugal). The work proposes a collective transversal analysis of the data produced through readings of the reference bibliography, work on archives, experimentations, and field work. The results expected should be published in various open access articles and books.
