He is a Professor of Computer Science, co-founder, and director of the Behavior Analytics and Visualization Lab (http:\/\/analyticslab.sabanciuniv.edu\/) at Sabanci University in Turkey, in partnership with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Prof. Balc\u0131soy has extensive scientific production in the area of \u200b\u200bbusiness analytics, data visualization, and artificial intelligence, and currently participates in several research projects developed by the GPMC.<br>We scheduled the following activities with prof. Balc\u0131soy, all open to the EA community:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Day 11\/7 (2 pm to 6 pm, room 201): During the PPGA \u201cMachine Learning\u201d course, prof. Selim will give a lecture on data visualization and artificial intelligence<\/li><li>11\/9 (10:30h to 12:00h, room 104): a lecture on \u201cBehavior Analytics and Visualization\u201d.<br>Our visitor will also be available to chat about their areas of research with all interested fellow EA faculty and students.
