{"id":5042,"date":"2026-05-14T19:03:07","date_gmt":"2026-05-14T22:03:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ufrgs.br\/gpmc\/?p=5042"},"modified":"2026-05-14T19:03:07","modified_gmt":"2026-05-14T22:03:07","slug":"international-recognition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ufrgs.br\/gpmc\/international-recognition\/","title":{"rendered":"International Recognition!"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n\n<p><strong>Jaiany Rocha Trindade<\/strong>, a<strong>Ph.D. candidate<\/strong> in the Graduate Program in Management at UFRGS, was named <strong>one of the winners<\/strong> of the Doctoral Competition for Conceptual Articles (DoCCA), sponsored by the AMS Review and the Sheth Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Advised by <strong>Prof. Dr. Vin\u00edcius Andrade Brei<\/strong>, the study addresses the <strong>distinction between measurable and unmeasurable uncertainties<\/strong>, one of the <strong>central challenges of strategic management in internationalization processes<\/strong>. The study was selected from among<strong> 40 submissions worldwide<\/strong>! As part of the award, Jaiany presented the study at the <strong>Academy of Marketing Science<\/strong> conference in Montreal, Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Congratulations on this achievement, Jaiany!
