Débora Missio Bayer is a Civil Engineer graduated from the Federal University of Santa Maria and holds a Master in Civil Engineering from the University of Pernambuco. She is currently a PhD student at the Postgraduate program in Water Resources and Environmental Sanitation at the Institute of Hydraulic Research, Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul.

Her main areas of interest are Hydrology, focusing on the impact of alteration of land use in hydrology, and hydrologic modeling.
