Atualmente, a cole\u00e7\u00e3o possui mais de 1200 esp\u00e9cimes tombados e dispon\u00edveis para consulta, de acordo com as regras estabelecidas pela pol\u00edtica de acesso ao acervo do MUCIN. A cole\u00e7\u00e3o possui acervo expressivo de esqueletos de pinguim-de-magalh\u00e3es (<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: inherit; color: #7a7a7a; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: italic; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;\">Spheniscus magellanicus<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial; color: #7a7a7a; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;\">), com cerca de 200 esp\u00e9cimes.
