Social Rent and Solidarity Stay
According to the ordinance, the State government will transfer R$400 to each family for a period of six months. The transfer must be co-financed by the municipality in at least 50%, and will be used to cover the maintenance of daily life in the form of social rent and/or solidarity stay, the latter only while the family is hosted in a third party's residence.
“City councils will select families in accordance with municipal legislation. The initiative seeks to support families who are in shelters and who will not be able to return to their homes yet and those who were welcomed at this time of so many challenges”, highlights the head of Sedes, Beto Fantinel.
