Advancing Further in Sport

Avançar Mais no Esporte is the continuation of Avançar no Esporte, launched in 2021 and which carried out 272 works. Led by governor Eduardo Leite, the initiative became the largest sports infrastructure program in the state's history.

"The program remains fundamental for Rio Grande do Sul, with works that greatly improve the people's quality of life. Next year, Avançar Mais no Esporte will be essential to rebuild sports and leisure infrastructure equipment in the cities hit by floods", highlights the Secretary of Sport and Leisure, Juliano Franczak (Gaúcho da Geral). "In line with the governor, I reinforce that the time is for reconstruction, and that this involves investing in sports spaces."

In this new phase, R$65 million will be invested in two modalities: Sports Infrastructure, which will include projects of up to R$500 thousand; and Ilumina Esporte, focused on lighting works, which will benefit projects worth up to R$200,000. In both modalities, the municipal contribution will be 30% of the requested amount.
