Combating misinformation

The new campaign by the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) against misinformation, “#EuVotoSemFake”, hopes to speak directly to voters. The initiative, launched on September 29, seeks to make voters aware of the role they have in disseminating true information during the 2020 Municipal Elections and on how they can join the Electoral Justice in the fight against disinformation.

The campaign's main recommendations to voters are: follow the official channels of the TSE and the Regional Electoral Court (TRE) in your state; and download TSE applications, such as e-Título – the digital version of the voter registration card –, Mesário – used to train and assist poll workers before and during elections – and Pardal – created to receive complaints from society about irregularities in election campaigns.
