Combating work analogous to slavery

On June 14, 2023, the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE) launched the campaign to Combat Work Analogous to Slavery, in line with the Federal Government's goal of eradicating degrading working conditions in Brazil. The Government focuses on the formalization of labor relations, considering the alarming data of precariousness and non-compliance with labor legislation in our country. In 2023 alone, until May 1st, 1,201 workers were rescued from conditions analogous to slavery.
