“July Without Plastic” and the #StopPlasticSunami campaign

Created with the aim of mobilizing consumers around the world to review their habits and reduce the generation of plastic waste, the “July Without Plastic” movement began in 2011, in Australia, as a proposal to raise awareness about the need to combat pollution caused by this material.

It is known that pollution demands much more than environmental education actions, civil society awareness and recycling. New practices are necessary and need to be optimized to ensure improvements in waste management. However, these alone are not enough to face the tsunami of plastics that is taking over the planet, aggressively and quickly.

Bill 2524 deals with the Circular Plastic Economy in a comprehensive way, offers  green business opportunities for the country, boosts innovation, technology and sustainability, in addition to guaranteeing remuneration for collectors and collectors of recyclable materials.

It's time to act! Support #PLdoOceanoSemPlástico!
