Brazil is of all colors
During the 29th LGBTQia+ São Paulo Pride Parade, held on Sunday (22), the federal government launched the national campaign "Brazil is of all colors", reaffirming its commitment to the rights of the LGBTQIA+ population. With the theme “Aging LGBT+: Memory, Resistance and Future”, the event highlighted the challenges faced by this population, such as ethaismo, loneliness and difficulties in access to public policies.
The Minister of Human Rights and Citizenship, Macaé Evaristo, accompanied by government representatives, reinforced the importance of ensuring dignity, memory and care to the LGBTQia+ elderly population. The action was attended by various ministries and emphasized that aging with dignity is a right of all - including those historically excluded.
