“Learn more” platform
The Learning Platform of the Ministry of Education (MEC), aims to offer online, open and massive courses (MOOC) to society in general, developed by the institutions that make up the Federal Network of Professional, Scientific and Technological Education. Managed by the Secretariat of Professional and Technological Education (SETEC), the platform already has more than 1.6 million enrollment, being the result of a partnership between MEC, the Federal Institute of Rio Grande do Sul (IFRS) and the National Network of Teaching and Research (RNP).
recently new professional qualification courses were launched, intended for the entire population, with the purpose of expanding access to Vocational and Technological Education (EPT). The courses are free, totally online and have no limit of participation per user. The certification is granted by the platform itself by compliance with the established requirements and the completion within the expected period.
