The Bota-Fora Project, promoted by the Municipal Department of Urban Cleaning (DMLU), took place in May 2025 in nine communities in Porto Alegre. The action aimed to collaborate with the correct disposal of waste that are not collected by regular collections, such as appliances, broken furniture, mattresses, among other bulky objects, thus preventing such materials from being discarded irregularly obstructing streams and wolf mouths, causing many floods.

The project serves a total of 237 socially vulnerable communities.
