Rebuild Porto Alegre
The Porto Alegre rebuilding platform aims to connect companies that can fund works into physical structures affected by the city's flood. On the site are initially related 54 equipment such as schools, health posts, psychosocial care centers, parks and squares. Each point brings information about the affected place, its importance to the local community, the specification of the necessary interventions and the estimated value, on an interactive map.
When choosing the work to which you want to contribute, the company should make contact by WhatsApp specific to learn more about existing demands. The values of the works are passed directly by the companies to the contracted suppliers, without passing through the city. The site will be updated constantly, reporting the progress of the works - the names of the partners will also be informed by the platform, in recognition of the support.
“Since the beginning of these severe climate events we have received a lot of help from various parts of the country. The goal is to organize and prioritize the demands of the city, which are many. The site will be in permanent update, including new places and information about the support received, ”explains Smamus holder Germano Bremm.
