Angelo Luis Stapassoli Piato
PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences (UFRGS)
I am a professor and researcher in the Department of Pharmacology and the Graduate Programs in Pharmacology and Therapeutics and Neurosciences at UFRGS. Graduated in Pharmacy (UFRGS) and PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences (UFRGS). I coordinate the Laboratory of Psychopharmacology and Behavior. Regarding research, I develop projects in the fields of translational psychopharmacology, stress neuromodulation, and the effects of xenobiotics on behavioral, biochemical, and molecular parameters in zebrafish. In the Neurosciences Graduate Program, I teach the Neuropsychopharmacology course and supervise master's, doctoral, and postdoctoral students.
