The main difference between programs rated 6 and 7 by CAPES is internationalization;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is a program of excellence in Brazilian psychology; the CAPES 2017-2020 evaluation gave the maximum score (7) to 4 programs among the 87 evaluated in the psychology subarea;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">RS has a large concentration of postgraduate students in psychology; In 2020, RS had 12 postgraduate programs in the Psychology subarea, totaling 460 enrolled. There were 6.44 registrations\/100 thousand inhabitants, behind only the Federal District (with 6.4 registrations\/100 thousand inhabitants).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>AT UFRGS<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With more than 85 years of tradition, UFRGS was named the third best university in Brazil and the best among federal universities according to the 2023 Times Higher Education international ranking.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">UFRGS is evaluated in the maximum range of the General Course Index (IGC), from the Ministry of Education.
