                    [rl_value] => A Graphic Novel ou, traduzindo para o português, o romance gráfico, é uma história produzida em quadrinhos, estilo que por sua vez capta personagens flagrados em atuações e atitudes preservadas por alguns momentos no que habitualmente se define como quadros particulares dispostos seqüencialmente. Neles as falas são inseridas em balões de diálogo. Geralmente considera-se Graphic Novel uma história mais longa e elaborada, semelhante às obras literárias compostas no gênero conhecido como prosa. Embora os tradicionais gibis consumidos principalmente pelas crianças sejam também insistentemente rotulados de histórias em quadrinhos, este formato se caracteriza hoje por abrigar igualmente narrativas mais densas e complexas.
