The processing time required to execute the program is less than 0,1% than typically required by conventional systems, what makes possible applications in which the other systems cannot be used. For example, in the simulation of accidents with toxic loads, the program demands about 3 seconds to provide the concentration map for about 50 hours of real-time propagation. This advance information can be sent immediately by e-mail to the environmental agencies, in order to accelerate decision-making regarding removal, containment or treatment of effluent, long before the eviction hit regions of greatest interest.
Technology description
Simulation system for the propagation of pollutants in water. The program calculates the concentration of pollutants along rivers, lakes and other water bodies, without format restriction. The calculation is performed analytically, from input data referring to concentrated effluent loads (sewers and outfalls) and diffuse (pits and sinks), providing concentration maps in a few seconds of processing.
