The manufacture of seats is being carried out in restricted ways, or manual processes (that generate products with low anatomical combination with users), or industrial equipment (that have a high cost of operation), however, both require highly skilled labor, raising the cost of the final product.
Technology description
This technology is intended for custom manufacturing of seats and backs flexible polyurethane foam for wheelchair users through a combination of 3D scanning technologies and CNC, semi-automatic mode, enabling an alternative process to those used currently and with a low production cost.

The invention meets the need for a system to facilitate the production of custom seats, necessary for the proper positioning of patients in wheelchairs, raising the ergonomic quality and reducing costs and the need for skilled labor.
