Technology background
Hair dyes are cosmetics used with aesthetic goals, being classified as permanent (or oxidative), semi-permanent and temporary. The latter do not have the power to penetrate the capillary cortex, settling only on the cuticle. Already, permanent and semi-permanent dyes have greater penetrating power due to their small particle size.
Technology description
The present invention consists of a nanotechnological composition comprising sunscreen capable of increasing the resistance of artificial coloring on hair strands against exposure to UV radiation., as well as maintenance of artificial coloring, even after successive washes.
Problem Fixed
The use of the intermediate para-phenyldiamine in oxidative dyes is related to the development of allergic reactions by consumers. Furthermore, Permanent and semi-permanent dyes contain aromatic amines that are linked to the onset of bladder cancer, and also breast.
Applications
The present invention can be mainly applied in the field of pharmaceutical industry, cosmetics and fine chemistry.
Advantages
The composition in question makes it possible to use a low concentration of sunscreen, avoiding possible irritating effects caused by the use of higher concentrations. Furthermore, the nanostructures developed in the present invention are adhesive to keratin and act as physical sunscreens, providing an additional effect on protection against the loss of color caused by radiation. Additionally, this new composition increases the permanence time of the color including temporary tincture
, which easily degrades or is washed away.
