On the Pelotas and Taquari-Antas Hydrological Forecasting project we developed an experimental operational hydrological forecasting system. The developed system for the Pelotas river basin was operationally used every day, generating new hydrological forecasts to Barra Grande Power Plant.
After this project we developed an experimental forecasting system to the whole Uruguay river basin, including the Pelotas River region. This system issued new experimental forecasts everyday for multiple locations. We used the forecasts to conduct research on operational forecasting
