Pedro Frediani Jardim

Undergraduated in Environmental Engineering from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), is currently a research assistant working with the  Large Scale Hydrology group from the Institute of Hydraulic Research (HGE / IPH). His work currently involves analysis and development of tools for hydrology application.

His previous activities include research studies at the Geoprocessing Laboratory  from UFRGS Ecology Center (LABGEO) where he worked on projects of evaluation and mapping of vulnerability due to floods and mass movements in municipalities of Rio Grande do Sul. He also trained  in Engeplus Engenharia e Consultoria Ltda. where worked on studies for implementation of a dikes system in the state of Maranhão, on the development of the Baixo Jacuí basin management plan and the study of measures to minimize flood effects on the Trecho Baixo from the Caí river.
