Environmental Engineer graduated from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Master in Water Resources and Environmental Sanitation by the Institute of Hydraulic Research (IPH) at UFRGS, Doctor in Water Resources and Environmental Sanitation. Adjunct Professor at IPH and currently a research fellow at CNPQ. He completed a one-year sandwich doctorate at Universität Duisburg-Essen, Germany. He has experience with geographic information systems (GIS), geoprocessing, hydrological studies, hydrological simulation, flow forecasting, studies and modeling of water quality, and studies of groundwater and sediments.
