This is the institutional website of the Laboratory of Calcareous Microfossils, Department of Paleontology and Stratigraphy of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Here you will find information about our lines of research, some historical aspects of the micropaleontology research in our country, institutional partnerships with researchers from Brazil and other countries, and a database on Foraminifera and Ostracoda. Moreover, it presents the groups developing research on calcareous microfossils (ostracods, foraminifera and calcareous nannofossils), with their respective research projects.
