II Meeting on Materials Science and Engineering in Southern Brazil
Event organized in a partnership between all Postgraduate Programs in the Materials Area (Area 47: CAPES) from Rio Grande do Sul, based at UNIPAMPA, UFPel, UCS, FEEVALE and UFRGS.

The payment of the registration fee can be made within the deadline for registration, according to the rates specified in our website.
Abstracts can be written in English, Spanish or Portuguese, and submitted electronically. Each presenting author can submit only one abstract. There is no limit for the number of abstracts in co-authorship.
Abstracts must contain only the text with the title, authors, affiliations, acknowledgments and references (maximum of 3). The abstract, acknowledgements and references will be submitted jointly and must contain a maximum of 2000 characters, including spaces. Do not leave blank lines between the abstract, acknowledgments and references.
Video and Presentation
A 3 to 5 minutes video must be submitted. This video will be displayed in a playlist during the event. During registration the applicant must choose if he/she would like to give a 10 minutes talk during the event. Both video and presentation can be in English, Spanish or Portuguese.

Undergraduate and graduate students who are authors of accepted abstracts can be granted with an award from the organization committee.
The best posters and best oral presentations will receive a prize consisting of a certificate and a voucher to cover (either totally or partially) the fees to a open access publication. The number of awardees will depend on the funds raised with registrations.
