Specialization Tutor Selection (20h) – Unifesp. The Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp), in partnership with the Open University of Brazil Program (UAB), selects six tutors for free specialization in Humanization in Health: Narratives of Illness, Suffering and the Possibilities of Care. APS Teaching Fund. O Association for Psychological Science (APS) Fund for Teaching and Public Understanding of Psychological Science offers subsidies to support the teaching and public understanding of psychological science. Researchers from within and outside the United States are encouraged to apply through the online submission portal, accessible to current APS members. Proposals can be submitted for support of up to US$ 5,000 to launch new projects that broadly address one of these categories: 1. Teaching and Learning Fellowship (high-quality, potentially publishable scholarship targeted at the teaching and learning of psychological sciences); 2. Meetings and conferences (efforts that facilitate communication among psychological science faculty who share common challenges and who would benefit from sharing ideas and resources); 3. Technology and websites (projects that leverage technological resources to improve the teaching and learning of psychological sciences and to increase the reach and efficient dissemination of related resources); 4. Anti-racist curricula (projects that aim to eliminate racial prejudice in psychological science curricula and incorporate principles of racial justice in psychological science curricula); 5. Postgraduate mobility Mitacs Accelerate International – Canada. The program Mitacs Accelerate International (Canada) supports bilateral research collaborations between students/postdocs, universities and industry partners, both in Canada and abroad. Postdoc vacancies – Belgium. Three postdoctoral positions are open for researchers from all areas, at the University of Mons – UMONS (Belgium), integrating the program Marie Skłodowska Curie Cofund Actions (MSCA COFUND). The program Connect with Wallonia – Come 2 Wallonia (C2W) has an approach bottom-up and fellows are free to choose their research topic (as long as it is within the competence of 21 research institutes at UMONS or the University of Namur – UNamur) and their main supervisor (more than 400 possible Principal Investigators – PIs). Call Associate Editor – Psychology: Reflection and Criticism. The magazine Psychology: Reflection and Criticism/Psychology Research and Review, Qualis-CAPES A1, published by SpringerOpen, is with open call for Associate Editors. This international open access journal accepts high quality articles on research and reviews on topics in Developmental Psychology, Experimental Psychology, Psychological Assessment and Health Psychology. The role of Associate Editor involves handling manuscripts submitted to the journal in accordance with policy editorial and make decisions based on the reviews received. Each Associate Editor will be asked to handle peer review of approximately 1 or 2 new articles per month. Candidates who have published at least ten articles in English on Psychology (or related areas) will be considered. Preference will be given to candidates who have participated in the conduct and publication of work in the areas of the magazine.
Unified National Public Tender. The Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services (MGISP) published eight notices selection process for the Unified National Public Competition (CPNU). The Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI) offers 296 vacancies in six notices, for the position of Science and Technology Analyst in different specialties. Scientific and Technological Initiation Highlight Award. The National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) registration has opened for the 21st edition of the Scientific and Technological Initiation Award. The award includes four categories. The first two – Scientific Initiation Scholarship and Technological Initiation Scholarship – will each award up to three scholarship recipients, one for each major area of knowledge: Life Sciences; Exact Sciences, Earth Sciences and Engineering; and Humanities and Social Sciences, Literature and Arts. The third category – Junior Scientific Initiation Scholarship – is intended for PIBIC-EM scholarship recipients (Institutional Program of Scientific Initiation Scholarships for High School) who carried out studies under the guidance of a qualified researcher, in higher education institutions or research institutes/centers. All scholarship recipients must have submitted relevant and high-quality final reports of projects developed from September 1, 2022 to August 31, 2023. The fourth category of the Award – Institutional Merit – will include institutions participating in institutional programs for scientific and technological initiation scholarships, which have scholarship holders registered in this edition of the Award. The National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) launched the XIII Photography Award - Science & Art 2023, intended to include images produced by undergraduate and graduate students, graduates and postgraduates, Brazilian and foreign teachers and researchers with permanent visas in Brazil. Calls for academic exchange and cooperation – Mecila Group. O Maria Sibylla Merian Center Conviviality-Inequality in Latin America (Mecila) is with four calls open to researchers: Senior Fellows 2025; Junior Fellows 2025; Four Thematic Fellowships on Relationalities; and Fellowship in Urban Narratives of Conviviality-Inequality 2025. Mecila is an international center for advanced studies in the humanities and social sciences funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) in cooperation with local institutions and funding agencies. It is an academic consortium consisting of three German institutions – Free University of Berlin (coordination), Universität zu Köln, Ibero-Amerikanisches Institut (Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz) – and four Latin American institutions – University of São Paulo, Brazilian Center for Analysis and Planning, The School of Mexico, and Institute for Research in Humanities and Social Sciences (Conicet / National University of La Plata). Postgraduate scholarships China Scholarship Council – China. The Chinese Government Scholarship Program – China Scholarship Council receives Applications for master's, doctoral and senior specialization programs in various fields. There are a total of 279 renowned Chinese universities designated by the Ministry of Education of China to accept students with Chinese government scholarships. Students can choose the university, including in the field of their choice. The requirements for applicants are: to have a bachelor's degree, be under 35 years old when applying for master's programs; to have a master's degree, be under 40 years old when applying for doctoral programs; to have a master's degree or associate professor's degree (or above), be under 50 years old when applying for senior specialization programs; and to meet the admission requirements of the applied universities in terms of academic ability, language proficiency and other relevant criteria. CAPES Brazil Chair – University of Münster. CAPES Academic Events Notice. They are open From January 15th, registrations for the submission of projects to the Support Program for Events in the Country (PAEP) from CAPES. Postdoctoral and sandwich doctoral scholarships in Sweden. The National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), the Brazilian Ministry of Science and Technology (MCTI), the Swedish-Brazilian Research and Innovation Center (CISB) and Swedish aerospace company Saab Brazil have a joint call for postdoctoral and sandwich doctoral scholarships in Sweden. Mobility Confap Italy 2023. The National Council of State Research Support Foundations (CONFAP) launched the MCI Call – Mobility Confap Italy 2023 to support the mobility of researchers (master's, doctorate and post-doc levels) from Brazil to universities in Italy, in all areas of knowledge, with stays of 2 to 12 months. Researchers linked to Universities and Research Institutions in Brazilian states whose State Research Support Foundations (FAPs) are participating in the call are eligible (see the list here, which included FAPERGS). Scholarships Carolina Foundation – Spain. The Carolina Foundation opened the scholarship call 2024-2025, in Spain, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda. 669 scholarships are offered, in all areas of knowledge, distributed in the following modalities: 251 postgraduate scholarships, 100 doctoral scholarships and short post-doctoral stays ; 106 renewals of doctoral scholarships, 36 professor mobility scholarships and 176 institutional scholarships. Postdoctoral fellowships from Fyssen Foundation - France. A Fyssen Foundation offers postdoc fellowships lasting 1 or 2 years in logical mechanisms of human and animal behavior. Candidates must be under 35 years of age on the closing date of this call, with a doctorate degree obtained by 08/31/2022. Term: 29/03/2024.
TERREE scholarships for doctoral students in France. The program TERREE 2024 offers French government scholarships to doctoral candidates (up to 40 years of age) in ecology, environmental sciences or life and health sciences, for a doctoral internship of 3 to 12 months in France. The Study Leaders program 2024 offers postgraduate scholarships abroad in the master's or sandwich master's, doctorate or sandwich doctorate, post-doctorate and MBA/LLM modalities. Brazilians up to 34 years old can apply until the end of the selection process, from any field of activity, who have applied to a university abroad (the university's acceptance letter must be presented by the panel stage with Líderes Estudar), with the course starting in 2024 or until the first semester of 2025. The minimum duration of the courses must be one full-time academic year, and for the sandwich version a minimum duration of six months studying abroad is required. Term: 07/04/2024.

O program of Asosiación Universitaria Iberoamericana de Postgrado (AUIP) for doctoral and post-doctoral mobility between participating Andalusian, Ibero-American and Latin American universities, such as UFRGS, receives applications. JSPS Scholarships in Japan. Doctors can compete, in 2024, for scholarships in the areas of humanities, social sciences and natural sciences, granted by two programs at Japan Society for the Promotion of Science: 1) Standard Postdoctoral Fellowships, for doctors with a maximum of six years of experience to carry out research at a host institution in Japan, for a period of 12 to 24 months; two) Short-Term Invitational Fellowships, for researchers with excellent records of research achievements to visit, over a period of 14 to 60 days, a host institution in Japan for discussions, opinion, exchanges, lectures and other activities. Deadline for submissions of applications from host institutions: 26/04/2024.
Master's degree mobility – France. The French Embassy in Brazil makes available partial scholarship for master's mobility in France for Brazilian master's students from all areas, from public higher education establishments, already admitted to the second year of the Master's degree (M2) and who have not turned 35 years old by 02/09/2024. The scholarship lasts 10 months (02/09/2024-30/06/2025). Term: 31/05/2024.
Support for networking – COST Actions. O European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) funds global research networks. The COST Actions they help connect research initiatives across Europe and beyond and enable researchers and innovators to develop their ideas in any field of science and technology, sharing them with their peers. The COST Actions are networks bottom-up lasting four years that boost research, innovation and careers. The COST program does not fund research, but provides support for research activities. networking. Participants in a COST Action can collaborate through a series of tools networking, such as meetings, conferences, workshops, short-term scientific missions, training schools, scholarships networking virtual activities, publications and dissemination activities. The COST Actions are open to all types of institutions (academies, public institutions, SMEs/industrial partners, NGOs, European/international organizations etc.), all career stages (young and experienced), all COST members as well as close neighboring countries (eligible for COST support) and international partner countries (including all Latin American and Caribbean countries). Call for articles – Science & Public Health. The magazine Ciência & Saúde Coletiva, Qualis-CAPES A1, FI 1.7, 1st place in the ranking of Google Scholar among all Brazilian scientific journals in any area, in the last five years, has a open call of works with the theme “For a more resilient performance of the SUS: policies, practices and technologies”. Original articles, essays, bibliographic reviews, opinion articles, experience reports, reviews and interviews can be submitted. Call for articles – Studies and Research in Psychology. The journal Studies and Research in Psychology, from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), Qualis-CAPES A2, open call for submission of articles for the Dossier on Psi Practices in Spaces of Deprivation and Restriction of Freedom. The proposal of the dossier is to bring together scientific articles that discuss the role of psychology in spaces belonging to the prison system and the socio-educational system. Call for articles – Interamerican Journal of Psychology. A Interamerican Journal of Psychology there is a call for articles Evidence-Based Psychological Therapies for Populations in Latin America and the Caribbean: Current Status and Future Directions from an InterAmerican Perspective. The aim is to highlight theory and research on evidence-based therapies in Latin America, the Caribbean and its diaspora in North America.
