Post-graduate Profile

The profile of the Graduate Program in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences (Master’s and PhD) is that of a professional with a solid foundation in research and teaching, capable of pursuing an independent career as a generator and disseminator of knowledge. PPG in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences has been successful in training professionals who continue to excel in their academic activities. A large number of our graduates have been incorporated into teaching and research institutions in Brazil and around the world. Our program’s human resources training prepares individuals with the ability to assume prominent positions at different academic levels in various regions of the country and abroad, establishing their own research groups/nuclei.
