Oil extraction equipment and process

Technology background
The pumping units are responsible for the elevation of oil in onshore wells. Generally, oil in onshore wells does not have enough pressure to rise to the surface, logo, At the end of the well drilling, an alternative pump similar to a check valve is coupled, which must be triggered by an alternative mechanism (pumping unit).

Technology description
The present invention proposes a new pumping unit with reduced number of moving parts and bearings, by replacing them with pulleys and steel cables. The use of this equipment is intended for pumping oil in wells on shore (terrestrial).

Problem Fixed
The biggest problem encountered when using pumping units in the field is their maintenance. Most of the time the equipment is located in places that are extremely harmful to mechanical components, due to high temperatures, dust, rain, etc,. This unit has fewer moving parts, aiming at a reduction of the mechanical problems and consequently a greater utilization of the unit, since in addition to the maintenance cost there is the cost of the equipment stopped which in the oil area is seen as the biggest loss.

Applications
– The technology can be applied to oil platforms on shore (terrestrial).

Advantages
– Fewer moving parts and friction, and therefore better performance;
– Lower power consumption (electricity or fuels derived from petroleum itself);
– It has a frequency inverter to vary the pumping speed or invert the equipment's direction of rotation;
– With orthogonal type reducer that eliminates the use of pulleys and belts for its activation
– Incorporates new lubrication and protection technologies for bearings and bearings;
– It differs from low profile units because it has 2 fewer bearings and use cables instead of straps.
