Technology background
In oil exploration offshore, risers Flexible materials are widely used due to their better performance in the face of the different environmental conditions to which they are subjected..
Technology description
The present invention relates to the terminal of riser flexible with the use of two cones to fix the traction straps that are part of the risers, enabling a better distribution of tensions in these strips.
Problem Fixed
Currently, the strips are subjected to a (voltage) non-uniform. The straps fixed to the cones distribute tension better. Therefore, fixing the traction straps through the cones reduces the possibility of terminal breakage.
Applications
The technology can be applied in risers and liners of platforms and extraction vessels (of production) of oil “Off-Shore”.
Advantages
The described mechanism results in a longer useful life of the equipment involved.
