The Pampa may not have lush forests, but it is far from monotonous or homogeneous. The native grasslands cover large expanses of the landscape, where we also find riparian forests, shrub formations, butiazais, swamps, rocky outcrops and much more. The biome displays an immense cultural heritage associated with the biodiversity and identity of the gauchos. It has its own flora and fauna not yet fully described by science. The photographs below were taken during field campaigns in the years 2019 and 2020.
