TecMides Project has as objective to develop tools to help teachers identify students suffering from discouragement on Virtual Learning Environments. It is built on the top of Educational Data Mining techniques used to create models to predict students prone to discouragement, allowing teachers to better accompany these students, continuing their learning process, avoiding their withdraw. Those techiques are based on the PhD Thesis of Fabricia Damando dos Santos. The source-code is open and freely available on GitHub.
