The Laboratory of Innovation in Eco-Efficient Cements (LINCE) aims to generate knowledge and technical solutions that contribute to the production of more environmentally friendly cementitious materials. This is done through research in two equally important areas: basic research, which allows us to increase our scientific knowledge base, and applied research, which allows the transfer and dissemination of knowledge generated within the University.
LINCE is linked to Programa de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia Civil: Construção e Infraestrutura (PPGCI/UFRGS) (Postgraduate Program in Civil Engineering: Construction and Infrastructure) and to Núcleo Orientado para a Inovação da Construção (NORIE) (Building Innovation Oriented Unit).
