C) Student Awards will be given to the best papers presented at BCCM-3. To participate, the candidate must be the first author and presenter of the paper in an oral session of BCCM-3.The categories are:

In each category the prizes will be:
1º Place: Tablet + eBook
2º Place: External HD + Book kit
3º Place: Chocolate + Book kit

1. Papers will be evaluated by a Committee, who will take into account the technical merit of the work and the presentation quality (clarity, organization, audio-visual quality, and timing).
2. Each paper will be assigned a score from 0 to 100 points. The winner in each category (Undergraduate, Masters and PhD Student) will be the paper/student with the highest score. In case of a draw, the winner will be the youngest student.
3. The winners will be nominated at the closing ceremony. They must be present at the ceremony, otherwise the award will be given to the second place in the category, or the third and so on.
4. Extraordinary cases and requests will be judged by the organizing committee of BCCM-3.

D) Oral Presentation: The total time for each presentation is 20 minutes (15 minutes for your presentation and 5 minutes for questions). Please be aware that the session chair will be very strict in administering time. You will be given a warning when you have 5 minutes left, and again when you have 1 minute left. When the 20 minutes have gone, the presentation will be terminated. There are no presentation templates. All presenters must save their presentations in the corresponding rooms, during the regular breaks of the program. The authors are responsible for testing the file prior to the presentation. The supported file formats will be pptx and pdf.

E) Poster Presentation: Download [here] the official poster template of BCCM-3. Dimensions: 120 cm x 90 cm, vertical orientation. Authors need to bring the printed poster to be displayed. All posters need to be placed at 08:00 h in the respective date indicated in the program. They need to be removed by 18:00 h (Mon & Tue) or 12:00 h (Wed). Digital versions of all posters will be available to the audience at two interactive terminals in the two main halls.

F) Conference Admission: All participants and exhibitors must wear their badges to be admitted to the Conference. The name badge will be available at the Registration Desk, together with the conference material/bag for all registered participants. If any correction is necessary, please go to the Registration Desk for a replacement. The badge also contains the “program-at-a-glance” and the tickets to the cocktail and the 3 lunches. No one will be allowed at the sessions, exhibitions or social events without a badge and the corresponding ticket. Free internet access will be available during the conference.

G) Social Complementary Activities: The Main Cultural Activity of BCCM3 is the Korvatunturi Spectacle, that will take place just after the opening Plenary Lecture, on Sunday, 28. After that, a Welcome Cocktail will be held for all participants in the Exhibition & Dining Area of the Faurgs Convention Center, from 19:30 h to 21:30 h.
The Conference dinner will be held at the Garfo & Bombacha Barbecue Restaurant (at Caracol road, RS 466, Km 02, Canela/RS) on Tuesday, 30 at 20:00 h. Bracelets will be given to the participants during registration, and must be worn for admittance to the bus transfer and to enter the restaurant. The free bus transfer will leave the Faurgs Convention Center at 19:15 h and return after the dinner.

H) Certificate of Attendance & Presentation: The registration desk will issue a certificate of attendance for every registered participant. The paper presenters will also receive a certificate.
