On Thursday, July 27, 2023, Professor Vinícius Brei will have a talk about the “Atlas of Opportunity – Brazil”. The event will take place in the University of Tokyo, at 15:00 local time (3 am Brasília time).
Abstract: The Atlas of Opportunities is a collaborative international research network and open-source project materialized in a free recommendation system website that aims to help entrepreneurs, companies, governments, and others interested in identifying business opportunities. The project combines multiple data sources, processed with spatial data science and Artificial Intelligence algorithms. The Atlas translates advanced scientific theories and methods in management, statistics, and computer science into a simple, intuitive, and interactive website aimed at generating jobs, income and fostering sustainable economic development.
