Jornada NESPRO

No início da primavera de 2013, em Porto Alegre, RS, o NESPRO realiza a sua VIII JORNADA. No ano de 2006, timidamente realizamos a primeira JORNADA com o tema Tecnologia, Gestão e Mercado. Na oportunidade, uma tríplice aliança voltada para a organização dos negócios pecuários. Agora, oito anos depois, com um caráter internacional, dada a presença de palestrantes de vários países, consideramos que é a vez da Inovação para o novo salto de competitividade da bovinocultura de corte.

No nosso entendimento a inovação gera a tecnologia e esta é o conhecimento aplicado. Portanto, é possível afirmar que existem conhecimentos úteis para contemplar a eficiência de produção, a viabilidade econômica, a responsabilidade social e a compatibilidade ambiental à disposição dos pecuaristas. O cenário da pecuária de corte brasileira é favorável e reúne os três requisitos básicos para inovar: a oportunidade, a vontade e a capacidade. Assim, nesta VIII JORNADA, lhe esperamos como um visionário que identifica nessas palavras um caminho para a maior eficiência econômica do seu sistema de produção. Além disso, teremos um ambiente favorável ao intercâmbio de experiências entre pecuaristas, estudantes e pesquisadores.

In the early spring of 2013, in Porto Alegre, the NESPRO holds its VIII Meeting titled I International Symposium on Beef Cattle Production Systems. In 2006, our first meeting was held with the theme: Technology, Management and Markets. In that occasion, we conducted a meeting towards the organization of the beef livestock business. Now, eight years later, with an international achievement, we are pleasure to provide speakers from different countries in our anual meeting. We believe that it is time for a New Innovation in the beef cattle industry.

We understand that innovation generates technology and this knowledge has been applied in many areas of interest. Therefore, we comprehend that useful insights are needed to contemplate the production efficiency, economic viability, social responsibility and environmental compatibility available to farmers. The scenario of Brazilian beef cattle is positive and satisfies the three basic requirements for innovation: opportunity, desire and ability. In our VIII Meeting, we expect you as a visionary whom identifies these words as a path to achieve greater economic efficiency of your production system. We invite you to join us and fellow researchers from around the world for this extraordinary meeting. You will have the opportunity to make contacts with other scientists and to exchange the experiences among farmers, students and researchers.
