36ᵗʰ Symposium on Microelectronics Technology
The SBMicro symposium is an international forum dedicated to fabricating and modeling microsystems, integrated circuits, and devices, held annually in Brazil. The symposium aims to bring together researchers in the areas of processing, materials, characterization, modeling, and TCAD of integrated circuits, microsensors, microactuators, and MEMS. The SBMicro 2022 be virtual from Porto Alegre, Brazil. It offers a unique blend of microelectronics and serves as a major conference for discussing interdisciplinary research around the world through various formats, such as oral presentations, poster sessions, exhibits, panel discussions, and tutorial sessions. Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements. The best papers presented at the symposium will be invited to resubmit an extended version to be considered for publication at the JICS – Journal of Integrated Circuits and Systems.
The areas of interest include:
• Device physics and characterization
• Modeling and simulation
• Semiconductor and MEMS
• Optoeletronics and photovoltaic
• Energy harvesting
• Power devices
• Novel materials and devices
• Sensors and Actuators
• Plasma technology
• Display technology
• Reliability and yield
• Circuit-device interaction
• Biomedical devices
• Engineering education
