Call for Abstracts (Poster Section)
Authors are invited to submit original works, completed or in progress, related to the area of Bioinformatics. This year EGB is accepting only one kind of submission:
➜ Poster presentation, associated to the submission of an abstract.
All authors of accepted abstracts will be given the opportunity to disseminate their work in poster sessions.
➜ Submissions must be original and not published elsewhere.
➜ They will be peer reviewed by members of the program committee. The reviewing process will be double-blind, so please omit information about the authors in the submitted abstract.
➜ Submit your abstract in PDF format using the templates bellow.
➜ Please provide up to five keywords in your Abstract
➜ Page limit: 4 pages (maximum).
➜ Language: Portuguese or English (preferentially)

➜ To help ensure correct formatting, please use the style files bellow as template for your submission. These include LaTeX and Word.
➜ Violations of any of the above paper specifications may result in rejection of your abstract.
Papers should be submitted in PDF format via the registration system observing the deadlines:
Poster sessions are a valuable method for authors to present papers and meet with interested attendees for in-depth technical discussions.
Preparing Your Poster Presentation before the EGB
➜ Your poster should cover the key points of your work.
➜ Posters can be in English (preferentially) or Portuguese.
➜ The title of your poster should appear at the top in Capital letters.
➜ The author(s) name(s) and affiliation(s) are put below the title.
➜ The texts should be minimized, giving preference to figures, photos, diagrams and graphs.
➜ Don't forget to include logos of the institutions involved and funding agencies.
➜ Each author will receive a certificate of presentation of the work.
➜ Poster size: Width: 90 cm, Height: from 90 cm to 120 cm (maximum).
➜ Paper Submissions: from 15/03/2019 to 22/05/2019 (extended) 31/05/2019 (last extension)
➜ Paper Acceptance Notifications: 10/06/2019
