General observations:
- The maximum duration of the Master’s scholarship is two years. The maximum duration of a Doctoralscholarship is four years.
- The candidate who fails twice (in the same subject or in different subjects) will have his/her enrollment in the graduate program discontinued.
- A scholarship may be revoked due to insufficient performance (e.g., failing a course).
- Students are expected to take part in academic activities (like summer or reading courses, thesis writing) in January and February. The specific activity should be arranged with the supervisor.
- The final version of a Master’s or Doctoral thesis must be presented in up to two months after the thesis defense.
- Attendance of the various workshops and conferences that take place in the Mathematics Institute is strongly encouraged. Such activities are announced on the graduate program home page and on posters in the hallways of the Institute.
