The Graduate Program in Remote Sensing (PPGSR) at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) offers Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Remote Sensing.
Our mission is to train highly qualified professionals to work in research, development, consulting, and teaching focusing on Remote Sensing and related areas.
The lines of research at PPGSR/UFRGS are:
- Applied remote sensing
- Atmospheric sciences
- Cartography and geoinformation science
- Image processing
- Satellite geodesy
Upon admission to PPGSR/UFRGS, students benefit from numerous facilities offered by UFRGS and are eligible for research support from federal funding bodies, such as CAPES and CNPq.
