CONCENTRATION AREAS
The urban planning research objects intended by PROPUR are grouped into the following Concentration Areas:
URBAN AND REGIONAL PLANNING AND SOCIAL PROCESSES – PUR_PS – investigates the social processes associated with urban and regional planning formulations and practices, which constitute the socio-economic, political, ideological and cultural contexts in which their propositions and effects in space are engendered.
DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEMS IN URBAN PLANNING AND DESIGN – SSD_PDU – study of forms of representation of the form, spatial structure and image of the city, synthesis and transmission of urban information, decision processes, impact and performance verification systems, and project control.
